This Agreement is entered into on _____________ between HaloFrenchies (“Breeder”) and __________________ (“Buyer”) regarding the above-described puppy/dog.

1. Purchase Price

Buyer agrees to purchase the puppy/dog for the total purchase price of $__________.

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve the puppy and will be applied toward the total purchase price.

The remaining balance is due before or at the time the puppy is released to Buyer at eight (8) weeks of age unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Buyer is responsible for any shipping, delivery, or transportation expenses.

Accepted payment methods include cash, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, credit/debit card, or other mutually agreed payment methods.

2. Registration

The puppy is represented as a purebred dog and is eligible for registration with the American Kennel Club (AKC).

Breeder agrees to provide Buyer with the appropriate registration paperwork.

Buyer is responsible for completing registration with the kennel club.

3. Mandatory Veterinary Examination

Buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within three (3) calendar days of taking possession of the puppy.

This examination is required to validate the health guarantee provided in this Agreement.

If the examining veterinarian determines the puppy has a serious illness, congenital defect, or contagious condition present prior to transfer, Buyer must notify Breeder within seventy-two (72) hours and provide written veterinary documentation.

Failure to obtain the required veterinary examination within the specified timeframe voids the health guarantee provided in this Agreement.

4. Breeder’s Representations

Breeder represents and warrants that:

a. Ownership

Breeder is the lawful owner of the puppy and has full authority to sell and transfer ownership to Buyer.

Ownership transfers to Buyer upon full payment.

b. Health at Time of Sale

To the best of Breeder’s knowledge, the puppy is in good health at the time of sale and free from known life-threatening illnesses or defects.

5. One-Year Genetic Health Guarantee

Breeder provides a one (1) year genetic health guarantee beginning on the date Buyer takes possession of the puppy.

If within one (1) year:

  • the puppy dies due to a hereditary or congenital disorder, OR

  • the puppy is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian with a severe hereditary or congenital disorder that significantly impacts quality of life,

Buyer will be entitled to receive a replacement puppy of equal value from the next available litter.

To qualify for this guarantee:

  1. Buyer must provide complete veterinary records and written documentation from a licensed veterinarian.

  2. Breeder reserves the right to request a second veterinary opinion at Breeder’s expense.

  3. The condition must not be caused by neglect, abuse, accidental injury, improper nutrition, environmental factors, or failure to provide routine veterinary care.

Buyer retains ownership of the original puppy. Return of the puppy is not required.

This guarantee does not cover:

  • minor or cosmetic conditions,

  • allergies,

  • parasites,

  • common illnesses after transfer,

  • injuries,

  • preventable conditions,

  • or non-life-threatening breed-related conditions.

No cash refunds will be provided unless agreed upon in writing by Breeder.

6. Buyer Responsibilities

Buyer agrees to provide proper care for the puppy including:

  • adequate housing and shelter,

  • clean water and quality nutrition,

  • regular veterinary care,

  • vaccinations and parasite prevention,

  • exercise and socialization,

  • and humane treatment at all times.

Buyer agrees not to allow the puppy to be neglected, abused, or used for illegal activities.

7. Exercise & Development

Buyer agrees to avoid excessive forced exercise while the puppy is still developing.

Buyer should avoid allowing the puppy to repeatedly jump from excessive heights or participate in strenuous activity until fully matured.

8. Rehoming Agreement

If Buyer is unable to keep the puppy at any point during its life, Buyer agrees to notify Breeder before surrendering the puppy to a shelter or rescue organization.

Breeder may assist with rehoming efforts if requested.

Buyer retains ownership rights unless ownership is voluntarily transferred in writing.

9. Breeding & Showing Rights

This puppy is being sold with full AKC registration unless otherwise stated in writing.

Buyer is responsible for all expenses related to breeding, showing, health testing, transportation, veterinary care, and related activities.

Breeder does not guarantee breeding or show success as adult development cannot be predicted.

10. Communication

Buyer agrees to notify Breeder of any major hereditary or life-threatening health conditions diagnosed during the dog’s lifetime.

Both parties agree to keep contact information current.

11. Welfare of Puppy

Buyer agrees to provide humane care throughout the puppy’s life.

If Breeder has reasonable evidence of severe neglect or abuse, Breeder may request documentation regarding the puppy’s welfare.

Nothing in this Agreement gives Breeder automatic ownership rights or authority to repossess the puppy without Buyer’s consent or lawful authority.

12. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

13. Entire Agreement

This Agreement represents the full understanding between the parties and supersedes any prior verbal or written agreements.

Any modifications must be made in writing and signed by both parties.

If any portion of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

Electronic signatures shall be considered legally binding.
